Our director, Chris Jones, has spent much time since retirement from data analysis researching his own family tree, his father's family originated from NW Wales and Cambridgeshire. His mother's family originated largely from Ireland (north and south), but a significant branch originated from Germany, Holland and France when a number of Palatine migrants fleeing from the Napoleonic wars in the early years of the 18th century. They arrived in Adare, Co Limerick and spread through SW Ireland and also across the Atlantic to Canada and the USA in the late 18th century and early 19th century.
